So yeah:) Got to write my friend a proper letter! It felt pretty cooooool……. I can only imagine how awesome and romantic it would have been back in the old days to write letters to your lover… not having the ability to hear her voice and have to sit and imagine her pitch and tone as you read the letters….

Oh well…. Such as this Blog, everything is online now…. The sense of, “We might not speak again for quite some time so let’s make this special” is gone, you can text, call, facebook, bbm, facetime, skype, msn, Gtalk or just about anything with internet, to talk to whoever you want…..

So yeah, I am falling back to letters for a bit, I will try and have some fun with it:) I already ordered myself some stamps, seal wax and letter box! Rather excited! Too bad my post partner is going to be going to be in Africa for 2 weeks:( Oh well! Time will fly! :D

Gonna keep this one short as I have to complete a few stories in my head before I lay them down on my keyboard;)

So yeah…. Tumblr, haven’t seen you in a while!

Everything has gone balls up lately really….. Closing off of college, bunch of student rep and student council meetings, family stuff, driving stuff and friends visiting has caused me to actually be ashamed to come on here, because my deal to myself was to type every day and get out what needs to be said… Well it hasn’t happened, and I need to fix that.

You see, I don’t have that many TRUE friends in real life that I can just open up to and know they will listen, especially after falling head over heels for one of them, I can’t really tell my best friend how I’m hurt about her not seeing me as her “type”. I respect her decision though and I will continue to be there for her…..

But yeah, the internet always listens, it doesn’t necessarily respond but I know somewhere some machine is reviewing my text for some or other survey value to find out if it should email me or not, and just that makes me feel slightly more at ease to open up on here.

So like I said, I need this to be my escape, I’m not going to promote it, people can read it if they’d like, but they most likely won’t get much out of it.

SO quick update then, only thing to mention is the fact that I most like fell “in love” with my best friend, she confessed I’m not her type and so we’ve decided to stay best friends. I think she handled it 4 million times better than me though as I’ve had a lump in my throat for 2 days now (Since she left my house) and I may have slightly fallen asleep while crying last night. Oh well, at least I know what “Love sick” means now. 

One thing she did that stood out for me though was the fact that she let me hold her hand…… We were laying on the fold-out bed, I looked to her and asked her in a rather nervous voice, “…may I hold you hand?…” Of course she was rather thrown back by this as just prior to it we agreed to be friends. She then asks if I’m sure that I won’t be hurt by it, she asks if I’m sure I want to do this and that I understand why I’m doing it….. and I did. I knew it would hurt, I knew I would be holding the hand of the girl I idolise more than anything on earth right now, but I didn’t care….. I got to hold her hand….. and for the next 5 minutes, nothing in this fucked world mattered. I could feel her pulse. I could feel her soft skin. I could feel her genuine sympathy for me, and it meant everything to me.

So yes, I am the little weakling that dribbles in the corner and has this girl on the middle of his icons for his iPhone facebook homepage, but frankly, it doesn’t matter, ‘cause deep down I know she cares.

Wow. I’m actually horrid for only letting this be my new post of the year. It’s 23 days late (minus 6 ‘cause I only got home on the 7th from South Africa) *Put’s on running track 1 from MOS’s new CD*

Righty’o then! First off, Happy New year to everyone! I trust you all shall have a amazing year and that everyone will hopefully stick to their new year resolutions (Mine have kinda already flown out the window). My year so far looks pretty epic with Roger Waters coming up in London (I’m SOOOO F***ING EXCITED), will most likely be heading up to Holland to do e-Sports coverage and some other various things I will announce along the way. And before I forget. I got a iPad. Wow. I have never been so nervous and curious at the same time. My Dad called my Sister and I into the living room, making it sound as if we had forgotten something. I was in a slight state. I was completely nervous! I had no idea what to expect! Before you knew it, he asked my Mom to hand my Sister and I our boxes….. It’s all history after that… I nearly jumped over the coffee table to thank my dad though :P

So anyway, back to December, this is going to take a while, so stories will pop up here and there and I might skip the odd day of blogging about my day (especially if it was like today where I didn’t do much besides set-up dual-booting on my Mom’s new Mac Air. 

Okay, seriously back to December now :D It started off amazing, it was chilled, not many caravans had come in at the beginning of December as per usual so it was quiet setting up and lovely to walk around the empty park. I had my Nikon D200 there as well so was raring to get some photos! 

I nearly tackled Jodie when I saw here for the first time. Wouldn’t anyone if you haven’t seen someone for a year? She introduced me to Kirst and Marlise, two of the sweetest girls you could imagine. So here we had a trio of trouble and me who just couldn’t wait to chill. We did the usual, hang out with SU (Scripture Union), buy chappies from the on-site cafe, buy Steri Stumpies, listen to music and just generally talk rubbish. I will never forget when Marlise, Kirst and I went across to Bird Island to watch the sun set though… Was pretty awesome(:

Oh yes… and the BlackBerry. So I had to upgrade (I didn’t have to, but who could say no to something nice and new?:D) my MTN contract in South Africa. Seeing as I didn’t have a BB and A LOT of my friends did, I decided it was the best choice. It’s now my social BBM phone with a number that only a few people will get. That way I know if it rings it MUST be important. Should be interesting….

That’s all I want to say for today… My arm is actually getting a cramp from typing (really haven’t typed this long in a while). So congrats to Cooller for winning IEM QL. Hope everyone had a good day.

Yeh yeh… So I’m being a little lazy on the blog side… but I’m allowed to be! I knew I wouldn’t be very active in December, mainly because I’m in South Africa and on holiday! It’s too much fun under the sun to be blogging:) I will post the occasional update but nothing too serious, I’m on a netbook as is….

So I had a pretty awesome day today… I to see Jessica, Tanya, Leigh, Adele, Belinda and have a awesome convo with Tammi… Life is just so relaxed down here… It’s a whole new world……

I hope all my friends everywhere are having a awesome and safe journey for whatever they doing for holiday…..I so wish I could have seen a few of my friends up in PTA, but that didnt happen…Oh well…..

So. AFAIK, Tumblr has been down:( Which kinda sucks, but as Newton’s Law would have it, I got the relaxation of going to be knowing I wouldn’t be in trouble for not writing one!:D Thank you Newton.

These passed few days haven’t been too much to report on. Sunday was finally a relaxed day for me. Monday I did assignments and yesterday was a EXTREMELY cold day at college….

Arg -.-   Look, I’m all good for some physical labour… but not on a Saturday morning, after sitting on the road for 5 hours and needing to make the trip twice. It was quality bonding time with my Dad though:) So ye, simple question: Would I do it again? Hell yes.

So besides carrying wood most of the morning (surmounted to a total of 700kg odd) we settled back home and started preparing food and stuffs for people coming over. Lovely people though so it was pleasant:)

Stayed up slightly late to jam some WoW (currently 48 Hunter Troll) and I must say I’m actually beginning to understand the game now. It all makes sense as to what I’m working towards in the game for myself.

They day I get into a pattern with blogging is the day I might as well quit.

It’s really hard to write something about your day before it’s over, that’s why I like leaving it to my last thing I do at night before I got to bed, then a few problems strike: 1. Too tired to write it 2. Too tired to remember what to write 3. Procrastinate till tomorrow. This is becoming a vicious cycle;D

Friday college. Don’t think it could have been much more boring. Two of our tutors were absent due to the snow, which means we sat through 3 sessions of presentations (which were mostly horrid) to finally get sent home early. It’s not so much the getting up, going to class and doing nothing before going home that bugged me, it was more the, “Now that I wasted a perfectly good morning, what can I do .-.”

I ended up working on the new design for the box, which is coming along nicely. I’m really taking charge by phoning up all the heads of department and speaking to them directly instead of having to wait months and months for student council meetings. Should get this done with in 2/3 months!:)

Also made the call to Insight to get the ball rolling on Google Apps for the UK office here. Thoroughly excited to head up the project. Even though it’s not something big and probably won’t affect the company all that much, I think it’s the plain fact that I was put in charge of it, which means someone else trusts my decisions and how I handle situations. Real confidence boost!:)

Anyways, nothing too much from me otherwise.

Today has been pretty damn interesting to say the least.

Let’s start off with NASA’s new little discovery….well, I say little and mean that they have actually found a new life form. Lol. I honestly haven’t processed this all so much, but damn. So ye, the new life form uses arsenic instead of oxygen. So it can breath the stuff that kills us, that’s bad ass on it’s own! :P I don’t want to get too stuck into this, but it’s well worth noting.

On the current world issues…. ENGLAND LOST THE 2018 BID. CBFA. The fact that England have the infrastructure, the amazing stadiums, we’re hosting the olympics and the rugby world cup in a few years….well, now that I put it like that… I can see why they did give it away… I still find it unfair, and I think England should have won it based on technicals, but oh well. You win some you lose some. 

In my life today…………………………………………………and ye, that was about how my day was.

Rofl, I have to be honest and say I played a reasonable amount of WoW today… I started off well with about 2 hours on my assignment which is due in 2 weeks, but then I had some breakfast, and things changed. I do enjoy my days off! College tomorrow though, and I have a call scheduled with some people from Insight. All should be fun tomorrow!
